Funded by the Evening Standard’s Food for London campaign and run by Be Enriched, CooksForce is a community cooking project designed to inspire good practices in the kitchen with a fresh food approach.
The goal is to develop the basic cooking skills of local residents to enable them to make fresh, delicious, wholesome meals from scratch, at home and on a budget. The course also aims to get people thinking creatively about saving food from being wasted and will use surplus food from local retailers in the practical sessions.
The programme has been developed so that anyone can take part and is delivered in a community-focused manner.
Classes take place on Saturday mornings 10am – 1pm.
